WHERE WE ARE

Casa del Cielo Sereno is situated in the Centrum of the village Competa about 150 m East of the main square Plaza Almijara. From this square walk 20 m up and then, turn right into first street. Walk to the end of the street untill you will see the steps of a small square with fountain. The house nr 19 is located there on your right hand. We advise you to park your car above the house on Plaza Vendimia. Theoretically you can rich the house by car, but we do not advise this because of the very narrow streets. Better, take your luggage and walk 70 m down the street.

Transportation

Bus and railway services are cheap in Spain (the price one way Competa-Malaga ~ 5 euro). Every 15 min the bus no 19 is running from Malaga Airport to Central Bus Station where one of 3 buses/day to Competa can be picked up. You can also use the metro to Malaga Maria Zambrano station and walk to the nearest bus station.

Airlines

Many airlines have a direct flights to Malaga International Airport.

Car rental

We advise to hire a car for your holiday stay. It is a must if you are going to stay in Finca el Regalo. There is a possibility to hire a car from a Competa-based car rental agency for your one of more days trips.

Golf

The nearest Baviera Golf court (18 holes) in Caleta de Valez (25 min by car), Anoreta Golf court or any other of many golf clubs of the region

Tennis

Courts can be booked at the Hotel Balcon de Competa

Pool

The local swimming pool of Cómpeta is open from Monday till Friday from 10-14 and 16-21hrs. Saturdays 10-17hrs. The Balcon de Competa hotel has a lovely pool/bar area and tennis courts. Just a few minutes drive from Cómpeta in Canillas de Albaida, a traditional white village you can find less crowded & cheaper swimming pool. t.

Walking

Competa is internationally famous among walkers. Walking in the Sierra Almijara mountains and the National Park is the biggest attraction for this region. As a guide we advise you a book called 25 Walks Around Competa. which is available in the local bookshop.

Beaches

The Costa del Sol beaches are a 25 minute scenic drive away. We advise you one of the beach access in Nerja, Herradura or the surroundings.
